2005 was an eventful year for Kim. Not only has he achived a 2:1 degree in Multimedia Technology at UCE. He as also played at various venues around the country with Groovedigital and has secured a monthly residencey at DV8 in Birmingham.
2005 has also seen Kim play his debut gig at God's Kitchen (Carbon Lounge) on the same bill as Eric Morillo, Jason Herd and the Shapeshifters and also the new Promise venue Dragon Eye on it's 3rd week of opening. Kim is also made his debut in the Nitrogen Room @ Gods Kitchen with the Groovedigital boys on November 26th which has resulted in Kim Getting more bookings there throughout 2006.
The summer of 2005 also saw Kim Working for the Butterfly Music brand as head promoter of their weekly Sunday event Butterfly Sundays @ The Mailbox Birmingham. On the production side of things, 2005 saw Neon's (Kim Fai + Funkagenda) first track "In my mind" get released on Groove Digital and Made excellent sales across the globe. Kim has also produced 2 more Neon track's @ The Funk Farm, one of which is a Neon remix for Radio 1 Residents Trophy Twins which are due for release this summer. The Kim Fai E.P is also currently in production in a dark and dingy bedroom in the outskirts of Birmingham! Kim' Remix of the classic "Insatiable" by Thick Dick has been signed by Duct Records and will also be released this summer.
This year Kim has been focusing heavily on his productions, only leaving his home studio to stock up on weed and munchies ;). As well as his huge electro mix of Insatiable, Kim's Remixes of Jamiroquai " Deeper Underground and Nirvana's "Smells like teen spirit" have also been signed by the guys behind 24 managment. Kim has also been asked to remix Groovedigitals next release "Go Radio" by Issac S & J Groove and is currently working on projects with Micky Slim, Chad Lewis.
The later part of 2006 saw Kim carry on his UK and international gigs as well as his productions gettin support from:

Kim also produced a string of original production which he's waiting to unleash on the music world as we speak. His remix of Funkagenda's Good to me has been well recieved by many A list DJ's around the world and the release of his EP for Groovedigital Records at the start of 2007 is set to be a global smash.
2007 couldn't have got off to a better start for Kim. His remix of Funkagenda - San francisco has been signed to one of the most respected label on house music Toolroom Records which is a huge achievement considering he has only been engineering solo for the past 18 months.
Kim's aiming high this year in all areas of his musical talent, so keep your eyes peeled for fresh productions, gig and special collabirations in 2007!
