DJ Biography
Spoony's show broadcasts on Radio 1 every Saturday and Sunday, 7am-10am. As part of the Dreem Teem he fronts The Soulful Sessions from 3am-5am Saturday night/Sunday Morning. Spoony also presents the country's premier football phone-in show, 606 on Radio FiveLive every Wednesday night.
Since the days of hosting his own show on a local pirate radio station, Spoony's broadcasting career has gone from strength to strength He has presented both daytime and specialist shows on Kiss 100FM and the Galaxy FM network combining his innovative DJing style with enthusiastic chat with both listeners and celebrities alike.
The media friendly DJ has also crossed over into the world of television too. Spoony narrated Channel 4's music show "Flava", and was a regular on LWT's "Club-a-Vision" and MTV. Spoony has also presented Soccer AM, live from SKY. Spoony and the Dreem Teem had their own BBC TV show, 'That Dreem Teem Thing,' broadcast from their penthouse flat in Bethnal Green in their own inimitable style. Spoony has already left a permanent mark in international clubland as a member of the Dreem Teem (with Timmi Magic and Mikee B). Added to this are non-stop bookings at venues scheduled over the UK and Europe, including successive summers in Ibiza and Ayai Napa, Cyprus.
Spoony was our first guest RnB DJ to play the Amber Lounge in September 2006.
